(1941, Monogram, Upgraded 12/4/21) Dick Purcell, John Archer, Mantan Moreland, Henry Victor, Joan Woodbury, Guy Usher. Believe it or not, this film was actually nominated for an academy award. Yep, that's right. Best scoring for a dramatic picture. It was a new category in 1941. Zombies run amok on a jungle island when Archer and Purcell's plane has been forced down. The island is, of course, is run by a madman with a small army of zombies at his beck and call. Lugosi was originally considered for Henry Victor's role. Mantan Moreland is priceless. From a really crisp 16mm original print.
