Robeson is a convicted killer who escapes from a chain gang and sets up his own brutal empire in the wilds of Haiti. After his minions revolt, he escapes into the jungle where his victims’ ghosts haunt him. The climactic scene is unforgettable as Robeson sinks into insanity.
