TORMENTED (1960) Richard Carlson, Julia Redding, Lugene Sanders, Susan Gordon, directed by Bert I. Gordon. Great fun as Carlson plays a husband-to-be who's haunted by the ghost of his large breasted ex-girlfriend whom he allowed to fall to her death from atop a lighthouse. A terrific scene has Carlson holding up the ghost's head as it screams, "Tom Stewart killed me!" The final scene with the dead bodies intertwined in seaweed is very memorable. A quintessential drive-in schlocker! 16mm.
HANDS OF A STRANGER (1962) James Stapleton, Paul Lukather, Joan Harvey, Irish McCalla, Sally Kellerman. A dead murderer's hands are grafted to a pianist who has lost his own hands in a traffic accident. Unable to perform again, he goes mad and seeks revenge on those who operated on him. Lots of screaming and finger smashing in this under-appreciated horror film. Lukather is great in the leading role. 16mm.
