THE LORELEY’S GRASP (1972) Tony Kendall, Helga Line, Loretta Tovar. You’ve got a lovely woman who, at times, transforms into an ancient monster. This beast is a scary, snarling lizard-type monster that rips apart victims. Most of the action is at a girls’ school filled with bikini-clad babes. Tony’s the suave security man hired to protect the girls. Line plays the mysterious siren, Loreley, who wins Kendall’s love by seductively drawing him to her gothic cave. Yet he is torn between his love for her and his growing suspicion of whom she really is. Line, who was in her thirties, is stunning as she prances about the mysterious forest wearing only a bikini and body veil. A top horror film. Rated R. Color, widescreen, 16mm. BYLETH (1972) Mark Damon, Claudia Gravy, Tony Denton, Franco Jamonte. A man is possessed by Byleth, the demon of the incest. The demon appears during the film, but has a human face. Naturally, the young man starts having lustful desires about his sister. This is an odd, but captivating Italian horror film that will keep your interest right ‘til the very end. It is beautifully shot with a real Gothic style. There is quite a bit of nudity and some violence. We’ve never seen anything quite like this film. It would be rated R. Sub-titled in English.
