BLOODY PIT OF HORROR (1965) Mickey Hargitay, Walter Brandi, Louisa Baratto, Ralph Zucker, Rita Klein. A photographer and his gorgeous models find a seemingly deserted castle for a photo-shoot. However, it’s inhabited by a lunatic who traps the girls in the dungeon and begins conducting medieval tortures on them. Hargitay seems to really be enjoying himself in his role as “The Crimson Executioner. Many of the torture scenes are memorable, including the "spider web" scene. Brrr… Great color, from 35mm. He does, sending plague infested zombies from the grave after the guilty ones. Barbara excels in this Euro-shocker, which features a very chilling climax. From 35mm.
