(1932, Mascot) John Wayne, Conway Tearle, Tully Marshall, Shirley Grey, J. Farrell MacDonald, Charlie King. This is the well-pace feature version of the serial of the same name. A mad killer, “The Wrecker” has been sabotaging the trains of a small railroad company. When Wayne’s father dies in one of the wrecks, he sets out to find the fiend and bring him to justice. As was so typical of Mascot productions, there is a TON of action in this film, and it keeps you guessing as to just how the mad killer is right up to the end of the movie.
